For educators

The hardest and best teaching job in Israel.Teaching positions at Masa Torah, a gap year Israel program in Ra'anana for beginners.

Teaching guys who arrive with nothing is harder than teaching guys who arrive with everything, and the change you get to watch is on a completely different scale.

What we are looking for

We can teach the curriculum. We cannot teach this.

You actually like the first question

The one about why the Torah repeats itself, or whether any of this is literally true. Not as a hurdle to get past, but as the most interesting part of the day.

You can teach without shorthand

No assumed vocabulary, no assumed Hebrew, no assumed anything. If you have ever watched a beginner nod along without understanding, you know why this is a skill.

You want to know fifteen guys well

This is not a lecture job. The one to one time is the job, and the shiur supports it rather than the other way around.

You are willing to travel

Every week you are out in the country with them. Some of the best teaching happens on a bus.

We are building the founding staff now for a September 2027 opening: a full time rebbe and educator, madrichim, and visiting teachers for the afternoon tracks. Roles are still being shaped, which is deliberate. We would rather define a job around the right person than post a fixed description and hope.

If any of this sounds like you, or like somebody you know, we would genuinely like to talk. No resume needed to start.

Start a conversation

Tell us about yourself.

Or what you would want to teach here.

We care much more about this than about a resume.
